Nebula Creative is on the lookout for a visionary Senior 2D Visual Designer to join our dynamic team in Austin. In this role, you will be the mastermind behind our brand's visual storytelling, translating complex concepts into stunning, accessible, and high-impact 2D assets. You will work closely with our creative directors and product teams to elevate our digital presence and ensure our visual language resonates with a global audience. Responsibilities
- Conceptualize and execute high-fidelity 2D illustrations and graphics for web, mobile, and print collateral.
- Design and maintain a consistent visual language across all brand touchpoints, ensuring alignment with company goals.
- Create custom typography and color palettes that enhance user engagement and accessibility.
- Collaborate with the UX/UI team to translate wireframes into polished, pixel-perfect 2D interfaces.
- Produce animated assets and motion graphics using industry-standard tools to bring static designs to life.
- Conduct thorough design reviews and provide constructive feedback to junior designers and external vendors.
- Stay ahead of design trends and emerging technologies to continuously innovate our creative output.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in 2D graphic design, illustration, or motion graphics.
- Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, InDesign).
- Strong portfolio demonstrating a diverse range of 2D styles and successful project outcomes.
- Experience with UI/UX design principles and Figma is highly preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex design concepts clearly.
- A Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or a related field.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
