As a Senior 2D Animator, you will bridge the gap between art and technology, ensuring our animations are not only beautiful but also optimized for performance across all devices. You will work closely with art directors and developers to push the boundaries of 2D motion design.
Responsibilities
- Conceptualize and create high-quality 2D animations and motion graphics for web, mobile, and video content.
- Develop detailed storyboards and animatics to visualize complex animation sequences.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (designers, developers, producers) to ensure creative vision is executed flawlessly.
- Optimize animations for various platforms, ensuring fast load times and compatibility.
- Mentor junior designers and provide technical guidance on motion design principles.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, software updates, and emerging technologies in motion design.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to tight deadlines.
Qualifications
- 3-5+ years of professional experience in 2D animation and motion graphics.
- Expert proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
- A strong, diverse portfolio demonstrating mastery of timing, spacing, and character performance.
- Experience with rigging and character animation is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to present creative concepts to stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Animation, Graphic Design, or a related field is preferred.
- Self-motivated with a problem-solving mindset.
