Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome customers upon arrival, providing a positive and professional first impression.
- Assist customers in selecting the right equipment and demonstrate product features effectively.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately, processing sales, returns, and exchanges efficiently.
- Stock shelves, organize display areas, and maintain a clean, safe, and appealing store environment.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with inventory counts and organization.
- Build rapport with regular customers to encourage repeat business and loyalty.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints with a solution-oriented mindset.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous retail or sales experience is preferred but not mandatory for the right candidate.
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand and move around the store for extended periods.
- Basic computer literacy and comfort with POS systems.
- A valid driver's license is a plus for occasional stock deliveries.
