Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers warmly, providing a welcoming and professional shopping experience.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently to process sales, returns, and exchanges.
- Merchandise the sales floor to ensure products are displayed attractively and organized according to company standards.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock replenishment and inventory audits.
- Build rapport with customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate products.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily sales targets and maintain a clean store environment.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure satisfaction.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is a plus but not required.
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs comfortably.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transactions.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential.
- Familiarity with POS systems is highly desirable.
