Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers with a friendly and professional demeanor upon entering the store.
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately and efficiently to process transactions.
- Keep the sales floor clean, organized, and stocked with merchandise to ensure an inviting shopping experience.
- Assist in inventory management, including stock counts and merchandise displays.
- Answer customer inquiries regarding product availability, pricing, and store policies.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily sales targets and store goals.
- Handle returns, exchanges, and customer complaints with patience and empathy.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus but not required.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and move around the sales floor actively.
- Strong math skills for accurate cash handling and register operations.
- Excellent communication skills and a positive, customer-first attitude.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to learn new point-of-sale software quickly.
