Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using the provided point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions with strict attention to detail and accuracy.
- Greet customers warmly upon entry, answer inquiries, and provide exceptional customer service.
- Ensure the sales floor is clean, organized, and well-stocked at all times.
- Assist with inventory management and restocking merchandise as needed.
- Resolve customer complaints and issues professionally to ensure high satisfaction rates.
- Cash out the register at the end of the shift and prepare daily deposits.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
- Previous experience as a cashier or in retail is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong math skills and the ability to handle cash with high accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential.
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with POS systems is a plus.
