Responsibilities
- Customer Engagement: Greet customers warmly, answer questions, and assist with product selection to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Point of Sale Operations: Process transactions accurately and efficiently using our POS system, handling cash, credit, and digital payments.
- Visual Merchandising: Maintain attractive and organized displays, restock shelves, and ensure product availability throughout the sales floor.
- Store Maintenance: Keep the sales floor, fitting rooms, and restrooms clean, tidy, and well-organized at all times.
- Inventory Management: Assist in inventory counts, stock replenishment, and monitoring product levels to prevent out-of-stock situations.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team members and managers to support daily operations and achieve sales goals.
- Problem Resolution: Address customer concerns or complaints professionally and escalate complex issues to management when necessary.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
- Experience: Previous retail experience is preferred but not required; training provided.
- Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, walk frequently, and lift up to 25 lbs safely.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Math Skills: Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transactions.
- Technology: Comfortable learning and using point-of-sale (POS) software and inventory systems.
