Responsibilities
- Inventory Management: Receive, inspect, and stock incoming merchandise to ensure accurate inventory levels and product availability.
- Merchandising: Organize shelves and displays according to company standards to maximize visual appeal and sales potential.
- Stock Rotation: Perform FIFO (First-In, First-Out) rotation to ensure product freshness and quality.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other material handling equipment.
- Loss Prevention: Monitor stock areas to prevent theft and damage, reporting any discrepancies immediately.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and workplace regulations to maintain a secure environment for yourself and your team.
- Customer Support: Assist customers with locating products and answer general inquiries in a professional and friendly manner.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Schedule Availability: Must be available to work early morning shifts (e.g., 4:00 AM - 12:00 PM).
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to focus on tasks and maintain accuracy in counting and organizing stock.
- Reliability: Consistent attendance record and punctuality are essential.
- Communication Skills: Basic verbal communication skills to interact with team members and supervisors.
- Experience: Previous experience in retail, warehousing, or stocking is a plus but not required.
