Responsibilities
- Deliver virtual reference services via chat, email, and video calls to patrons across Minnesota
- Manage digital collections including e-books, databases, and online resource platforms
- Develop and conduct remote training sessions for patrons on digital literacy tools
- Assist with cataloging and metadata management for remote-accessible materials
- Collaborate with librarians on virtual programming and community outreach initiatives
- Maintain accurate patron records and circulation data in integrated library systems
- Support remote interlibrary loan services and resource sharing networks
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Library Technology, Information Science, or related field
- Minimum 2 years experience in library operations or information services
- Proficiency with integrated library systems (ILS) and digital resource platforms
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to explain technical concepts clearly
- Experience with virtual reference services and remote patron engagement
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in cataloging workflows
