Responsibilities
- Safely walk dogs in designated Minneapolis neighborhoods while tracking routes via GPS
- Administer basic care (feeding, hydration, waste cleanup) per client instructions
- Monitor pets' health and behavior, reporting any concerns to pet parents
- Update walk logs and client communications through our proprietary app
- Adhere to all local leash laws and safety protocols
- Build trust with clients through consistent, reliable service
- Coordinate with team leads for special client requests
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog walking or pet care experience
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Red Cross Pet First Aid/CPR certification preferred
- Exceptional time management and communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Knowledge of dog behavior and handling techniques
- Smartphone proficiency with app-based task management
- Background check clearance required
