Responsibilities
- Safely walk multiple dogs simultaneously (max 4 per group) in residential areas and designated parks
- Administer basic pet care (feeding, medication administration with client authorization)
- Provide detailed photo/video updates via mobile app during each walk
- Maintain accurate service logs and client communication records
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and emergency procedures
- Build trust with clients through exceptional pet care and reliability
- Attend monthly virtual training sessions on animal behavior and safety
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog walking or pet care experience
- Valid driver's license with reliable transportation
- Current pet first/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Smartphone with high-quality camera and reliable internet access
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Passion for animal welfare and commitment to ethical practices
- Clear background check and clean driving record required
