Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve specialty coffee beverages with precision and artistry
- Engage customers with product knowledge and exceptional service
- Operate POS systems and process cash/credit transactions
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas
- Participate in virtual training sessions and digital scheduling
- Collaborate with team members through digital communication platforms
- Upsell bakery items and seasonal promotions
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months coffee service experience preferred
- Proficiency in espresso machine operation and latte art
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Comfortable with digital tools (scheduling apps, POS systems)
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends/holidays
- Food Handler certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Basic math skills for cash handling
- Reliable transportation to downtown Sacramento location
