As a Barista at Jacksonville Coffee Collective, you will be the face of our brand, ensuring every customer feels welcomed and energized.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including espresso drinks, teas, and cold brews, following standard recipes and presentation guidelines.
- Operate coffee brewing equipment, espresso machines, and grinders with precision and care.
- Engage with customers to take orders, answer questions, and provide recommendations to ensure a high-quality experience.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized workspace, including the service counter, dining area, and storage areas.
- Handle cash, credit, and digital transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Assist with inventory management, stocking supplies, and monitoring product freshness.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Barista or in the food and beverage industry is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and welcoming demeanor.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Familiarity with coffee brewing techniques and espresso machines is a plus.
- Reliable transportation and availability to work weekends and holidays as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent education.
