Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve specialty coffee drinks following precise recipes
- Operate espresso machines, grinders, and other coffee equipment
- Deliver exceptional customer service in a fast-paced setting
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and customer areas
- Handle cash transactions and POS operations accurately
- Upsell coffee products and seasonal promotions
- Collaborate with team members during peak hours
- Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards
Qualifications
- No prior barista experience required
- Must be available for paid training (2 weeks, 20 hours/week)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift 25 lbs
- Basic math skills for cash handling
- Reliable transportation to downtown Omaha location
- Flexible availability including weekends and early mornings
