Responsibilities
- Expertly craft espresso drinks, pour-overs, and seasonal specialties using premium beans
- Manage virtual customer orders via our online platform with 15-minute pickup guarantee
- Maintain inventory and supply chain coordination through remote dashboard tools
- Host virtual tasting sessions and coffee education workshops
- Ensure hygiene and safety standards during in-person shifts
- Collaborate with team on seasonal menu development and local sourcing initiatives
- Process payments and manage digital POS systems during on-site shifts
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional barista experience with espresso certification preferred
- Exceptional customer service skills with ability to thrive in remote settings
- Proficiency with digital ordering platforms and inventory management software
- Knowledge of coffee sourcing, roasting profiles, and brewing techniques
- Ability to work independently while maintaining team communication standards
- Valid NY Food Handler's Certificate
- Reliable transportation for Elmwood Avenue shifts (2-3 days/week)
- Strong organizational skills for hybrid workflow management
