Responsibilities
- Expertly prepare and present specialty coffee beverages while maintaining quality standards
- Engage customers with personalized service and Richmond's local coffee culture
- Manage inventory, equipment maintenance, and cleanliness protocols
- Collaborate with team members through weekly virtual check-ins and scheduling flexibility
- Contribute to menu development and seasonal promotions
- Process transactions and uphold cash handling procedures
- Train new hires through digital onboarding resources
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months of coffee preparation or customer service experience
- Ability to work 3-4 shifts weekly with flexible scheduling (on-site + remote admin tasks)
- Proficiency with POS systems and digital inventory management tools
- Exceptional communication skills for both in-person and virtual interactions
- Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and flavor profiles
- Valid food handler certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Comfortable with hybrid work model (60% on-site, 40% remote admin)
- Reliable transportation to Richmond locations
