Responsibilities
- Develop novel quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning applications
- Collaborate with hardware teams to prototype and validate quantum circuits on superconducting systems
- Lead research initiatives to overcome quantum decoherence and error correction challenges
- Publish findings in top-tier journals and present at international quantum computing conferences
- Mentor junior scientists and drive cross-functional projects with AI/ML and cybersecurity teams
- Secure patents for proprietary quantum methodologies and intellectual property
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years of industry experience
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and quantum circuit design
- Proven track record of publishing in Nature/Science journals or equivalent quantum research venues
- Familiarity with quantum hardware platforms (superconducting, trapped ions, photonic)
- Strong mathematical background in linear algebra, probability, and information theory
- Experience with cloud-based quantum computing platforms (IBM Quantum, AWS Braket)
