Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Lead cross-functional research teams to develop quantum-resistant cybersecurity protocols
- Collaborate with NASA and MIT on quantum-enhanced space navigation systems
- Publish breakthrough research in Nature Physics and IEEE journals
- Architect quantum machine learning frameworks for predictive climate modeling
- Secure $2M+ in DARPA and NSF research grants
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information science
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years hands-on experience with quantum programming (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing conferences (QIP, QCE)
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Proficiency in high-performance computing environments (HPC, GPU clusters)
- Deep understanding of quantum machine learning algorithms
- Track record of securing federal research grants
- Strong Python/C++ skills with scientific computing libraries
