Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for cryptography, optimization, and machine learning applications
- Lead experimental validation of quantum error correction protocols at cryogenic temperatures
- Collaborate with hardware teams to improve qubit coherence times beyond 99.9% fidelity
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical frameworks for 2026-scale industrial applications
- Publish peer-reviewed research in top-tier journals and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum information theory and computational complexity
- Secure $1M+ in government grants for quantum computing initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent research experience)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Published research in quantum error correction or fault-tolerant computing
- Expertise in quantum annealing and superconducting qubit architectures
