Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for 2026-era applications
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum solutions
- Publish research in top-tier journals/conferences
- Optimize quantum circuits for error correction and scalability
- Develop patentable intellectual property in quantum computing
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum methodologies
- Collaborate with government and industry partners on quantum initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years hands-on quantum programming (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Published research in quantum algorithms or error correction
- Expertise in linear algebra, probability, and complexity theory
- Proficiency with Python, C++, and high-performance computing
- Experience with superconducting or photonic quantum systems
- Demonstrated ability to translate theoretical models to practical implementations
