Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for practical commercial applications

- Publish research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, Quantum) and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum computing systems
- Mentor junior researchers and cross-functional engineering teams
- Secure federal grants and industry partnerships (DARPA, NSF collaborations)
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field with quantum specialization
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published work in quantum error correction or variational algorithms
- Expertise in quantum hardware architectures (superconducting qubits, trapped ions)
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and computational complexity
- Experience with high-performance computing frameworks (CUDA, MPI)
- Clearance for government-funded research projects (preferred)
