Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning
- Lead cross-functional R&D teams to develop quantum error correction methodologies
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to optimize quantum gate operations and qubit stability
- Translate theoretical quantum models into scalable software solutions using Qiskit/Cirq
- Publish peer-reviewed research in Nature/Science journals and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Develop quantum-safe cryptography protocols for enterprise applications
- Mentor PhD candidates and junior researchers in quantum computational theory
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or Computational Mathematics
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with quantum programming (Qiskit, Q#, Cirq)
- Expertise in quantum algorithms (Shor's, Grover's, VQE) and error correction codes
- Published research in quantum computing or related top-tier journals
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and high-performance computing frameworks
- Deep understanding of quantum mechanics principles and linear algebra
- Experience with cloud quantum platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
