Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for complex optimization problems in finance, logistics, and drug discovery
- Develop novel quantum error correction protocols to enhance qubit stability and computational fidelity
- Lead cross-functional R&D teams in prototyping quantum processors using superconducting and photonic architectures
- Publish groundbreaking research in top-tier journals and present findings at international quantum conferences
- Collaborate with AI specialists to integrate quantum computing with machine learning frameworks
- Secure patents for proprietary quantum methodologies and intellectual property
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years of quantum research experience
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and quantum circuit design
- Proven track record of publishing in Nature/Science journals or equivalent high-impact venues
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence mitigation and topological qubit systems
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Strong background in linear algebra, complex analysis, and information theory
- Demonstrated ability to secure $1M+ in government or industry research grants
