Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for complex computational problems
- Lead experimental validation of quantum systems using superconducting qubits
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum computing
- Collaborate with AI teams to integrate quantum solutions into machine learning frameworks
- Publish breakthrough research in peer-reviewed journals and industry conferences
- Secure research grants and partnerships with quantum hardware providers
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum information theory
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum computing research experience
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and quantum error correction
- Proficiency in Python and quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit)
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability, and statistical mechanics
- Published research in quantum computing or quantum information
- Experience with superconducting qubit systems or trapped-ion platforms
