Responsibilities
- Develop novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Lead cross-functional teams in quantum error correction research
- Prototype quantum circuits on superconducting and photonic platforms
- Translate theoretical models into scalable quantum computing architectures
- Secure $5M+ in government and industry research grants
- Mentor postdoctoral researchers in quantum information science
- Present findings at premier conferences like Q2B and APS March Meeting
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 3+ years postdoc experience
- Published 15+ peer-reviewed papers in quantum computing or related fields
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Proven track record of securing NSF/DOE/DARPA funding
- Proficiency with quantum simulation frameworks (QuTiP, TensorFlow Quantum)
- Experience with cryogenic quantum hardware systems
- Strong background in topological quantum error correction codes
- Patent portfolio with 5+ quantum computing-related patents
