Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning applications
- Lead cross-functional teams to integrate quantum solutions with classical computing frameworks
- Develop error-correction techniques to achieve fault-tolerant quantum systems by 2026
- Publish breakthrough research in Nature/Science journals and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Secure $2M+ in research grants from NSF, DARPA, and private investors
- Mentor PhD candidates and junior researchers in quantum programming methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (post-doc preferred)
- 5+ years experience in quantum algorithm development or quantum hardware optimization
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or Q# with proficiency in Python/C++
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing conferences (QIP, QCE)
- Deep understanding of quantum entanglement, superposition, and decoherence
- Track record of securing government or industry research funding
