Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for real-world applications
- Lead experimental validation of quantum advantage in industry verticals
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals and conferences
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum computing fundamentals
- Collaborate with engineering teams to prototype quantum-classical hybrid systems
- Develop error correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum computing
- Secure research grants from DARPA, NSF, and corporate partners
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field with quantum focus
- 3+ years experience with quantum programming (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Published research in quantum algorithms or quantum information theory
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault tolerance techniques
- Proficiency in high-performance computing and parallel programming
- Strong background in linear algebra and complex probability theory
- Experience securing government or corporate research funding
