Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Lead experiments on superconducting qubit systems at millikelvin temperatures
- Develop error correction protocols to achieve fault-tolerant quantum computation
- Publish findings in top-tier journals and present at international conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and cross-functional engineering teams
- Secure research grants from DARPA and NSF initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum circuit design
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in quantum error correction or topological qubits
- Familiarity with cryogenic engineering and microwave control systems
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum information theory
