Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for practical commercial applications
- Lead experiments on superconducting quantum processors and error correction systems
- Collaborate with AI teams to develop hybrid quantum-classical machine learning models
- Publish research in peer-reviewed journals and present at international conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and maintain lab equipment calibration protocols
- Secure intellectual property through patent applications for novel quantum methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 3+ years industry experience
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Published research in quantum error correction or fault-tolerant systems
- Experience with cryogenic quantum hardware and microwave control systems
- Demonstrated ability to secure competitive research grants
- Strong background in linear algebra, quantum mechanics, and computational complexity
