Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for practical commercial applications
- Lead cross-functional R&D projects with machine learning and nanotechnology teams
- Publish breakthrough research in Nature/Science journals
- Secure $2M+ in government grants and venture capital
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information theory
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years of experience with quantum circuit design
- Published research in top-tier physics/computing journals
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, and quantum assembly languages
- Strong background in linear algebra and complex analysis
- Experience with cryogenic quantum hardware systems
- Track record of securing government research grants
