Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for cryptographic security and machine learning optimization
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quantum solutions into classical computing frameworks
- Lead research on quantum error correction and fault-tolerant quantum computing systems
- Publish findings in top-tier journals and present at international quantum computing conferences
- Secure research funding through NSF and DARPA grant applications
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum physics and computational theory
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, or PennyLane)
- Published research in quantum computing or quantum information theory
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and high-performance computing environments
- Demonstrated expertise in quantum algorithms and complexity theory
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum mechanics
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, or IonQ)
