Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and machine learning applications
- Lead cross-functional teams to develop quantum-classical hybrid computing architectures
- Author peer-reviewed publications and patents in quantum information science
- Optimize quantum error correction protocols for fault-tolerant systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum processor specifications
- Develop quantum-safe cryptographic protocols for enterprise clients
- Present research findings at global quantum summits and industry conferences
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 3+ years of postdoctoral experience
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and gate-level optimization techniques
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Quil)
- Published research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, PRL)
- Strong background in linear algebra, group theory, and quantum information theory
- Experience with quantum simulation frameworks (Q#, TensorFlow Quantum)
- Proven track record of translating theoretical concepts into practical implementations
