Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning applications
- Lead research in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks for real-world deployment
- Publish breakthrough findings in Nature/Science journals and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Mentor PhD candidates and patent novel quantum methodologies
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design next-generation qubit technologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or Applied Mathematics (with 3+ years postdoc experience)
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Proficiency with quantum simulation tools (Q#, IBM Quantum Experience)
- Deep understanding of quantum entanglement and decoherence phenomena
- Experience with high-performance computing and parallel processing
- Track record of translating theory into experimental results
