Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for complex optimization problems
- Develop novel error-correction techniques to enhance quantum decoherence resilience

- Publish findings in top-tier journals and present at international conferences
- Secure NSF and DoD grants for cutting-edge quantum research
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information science
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent research experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development using Qiskit or Cirq
- Expertise in quantum error correction codes (surface, LDPC, or topological)
- Publication record in Nature/Science or IEEE Transactions on Quantum Engineering
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and quantum simulation frameworks
- Experience with superconducting qubit platforms or trapped-ion systems
- Demonstrated ability to secure research funding (> $1M)
- Clearance for DoD quantum research projects preferred
