Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Develop error correction protocols to achieve fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Lead cross-functional teams to integrate quantum solutions with classical computing frameworks
- Publish peer-reviewed research and present findings at international conferences
- Collaborate with hardware teams to translate theoretical models into practical implementations
- Secure patents for proprietary quantum methodologies and architectures
- Mentor junior researchers and foster an innovative quantum research culture
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 3+ years research experience
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and quantum algorithm development
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and complex analysis
- Demonstrated ability to publish in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Experience with NISQ-era quantum hardware platforms
- Proven track record of leading quantum research projects from concept to publication
- Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
