Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for cryptography and optimization
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists and software engineers
- Secure $5M+ in annual research grants from NSF and DARPA
- Publish breakthrough papers in Nature Physics and IEEE journals
- Maintain industry partnerships with IBM Quantum and Microsoft Azure
- Mentor PhD candidates through our Quantum Fellowship program
- Present findings at Davos and World Economic Forums
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics or Computer Science with 5+ years industry experience
- Published research in top-tier quantum journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or quantum circuit optimization
- Track record of securing federal research funding
- Proficiency in Python/C++ and high-performance computing
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems and error correction
- Strong background in machine learning and statistical modeling
