Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum algorithms for commercial applications
- Design and execute quantum computing experiments using superconducting qubits
- Secure $5M+ in research grants from NSF and DARPA
- Publish 3+ peer-reviewed papers annually in Nature/Science journals
- Translate theoretical quantum models into practical enterprise solutions
- Mentor PhD researchers and drive lab innovation roadmap
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years experience with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit)
- Proven track record of scaling quantum systems beyond 100 qubits
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Strong publication record in top-tier quantum research journals
- Experience securing federal research grants
