Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization problems
- Lead cross-functional teams in quantum hardware-software integration
- Develop error mitigation protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Publish research in top-tier journals/conferences (Nature, IEEE Quantum)
- Collaborate with government and industry partners on quantum security frameworks
- Mentor PhD researchers and drive patent development strategy
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (MS with 8+ years experience)
- Proven expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Published research in quantum error correction or topological qubits
- Experience with quantum hardware providers (IBM, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Strong background in complex system modeling and machine learning
