Responsibilities

- Direct cross-functional research teams across physics, materials science, and AI
- Secure $5M+ in government and private research grants
- Publish 3+ peer-reviewed papers annually in Nature/Science journals
- Translate theoretical quantum concepts into scalable commercial prototypes
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or equivalent with 8+ years research experience
- Published work in top-tier quantum computing journals (Nature Quantum, PRL)
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum programming frameworks
- Proven track record of securing federal research grants (NSF/DOE)
- Experience leading technical teams of 10+ researchers
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence and error correction principles
- Demonstrated ability to bridge theoretical physics with practical engineering
