Responsibilities
- Lead quantum algorithm development for 2026-era applications in AI optimization and molecular simulation
- Oversee qubit stability research and error-correction protocols at scale
- Collaborate with hardware teams to design next-generation quantum processors
- Publish findings in peer-reviewed journals and present at international conferences
- Secure $5M+ in research grants from DARPA and NSF
- Mentor a team of 12 quantum physicists and computer scientists
- Develop patent-protected quantum encryption frameworks for 2026 security standards
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 8+ years of industry experience
- Published research in Nature/Science on quantum entanglement or topological qubits
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum programming frameworks
- Proven track record of securing federal research funding
- Deep understanding of Shor's algorithm and quantum supremacy challenges
