You'll lead cross-disciplinary teams of physicists, engineers, and AI specialists to develop fault-tolerant quantum algorithms and hybrid quantum-classical architectures. The ideal candidate thrives in ambiguous environments and possesses deep expertise in quantum error correction and decoherence mitigation.
Responsibilities
- Design quantum circuit architectures for NISQ and fault-tolerant systems
- Develop quantum error correction protocols for 100+ qubit processors
- Lead integration of quantum accelerators with classical HPC infrastructure
- Collaborate with AI teams to implement quantum machine learning frameworks
- Establish quantum security protocols for next-gen cryptographic systems
- Pioneer novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Drive quantum hardware-software co-design initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (MS with exceptional experience)
- 5+ years of quantum algorithm development experience
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Proficiency with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Strong background in superconducting qubit or ion trap systems
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Demonstrated experience leading complex technical projects
