Responsibilities
- Design fault-tolerant quantum architectures for 2026-scale computational problems
- Develop error correction protocols achieving >99.9% fidelity in qubit operations
- Lead hybrid quantum-classical algorithm optimization for pharmaceutical and materials science
- Collaborate with hardware teams to engineer superconducting qubit arrays at 20mK
- Create quantum security frameworks for post-quantum encryption standards
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum machine learning applications
- Author white papers on quantum supremacy benchmarks for 2026
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Published research in Nature/Science journals on quantum error correction
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum programming frameworks
- Proven track record in scaling quantum systems beyond 100 qubits
- Familiarity with cryogenic engineering and RF control systems
