Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures for enterprise-scale applications
- Develop quantum algorithms solving intractable problems in optimization, cryptography, and molecular modeling
- Lead cross-functional teams in integrating quantum accelerators with classical HPC infrastructure
- Establish industry standards for quantum error correction and coherence optimization
- Drive quantum security protocols for post-quantum cryptography implementations
- Partner with academic institutions to publish breakthrough research in Nature/Science journals
- Mentor quantum engineers and drive technical excellence across the organization
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Published research in quantum error correction or topological quantum computing
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Quil, Cirq) and quantum circuit optimization
- Proven track record scaling quantum systems beyond 1000 qubits
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence mitigation techniques
