Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum architectures for commercial-scale applications
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks to solve complex optimization problems
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum algorithms for finance, logistics, and drug discovery
- Establish quantum security protocols resistant to next-gen cryptographic threats
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to optimize qubit coherence and gate fidelity
- Present quantum computing roadmaps to C-suite executives and venture partners
- Contribute to open-source quantum programming frameworks and developer ecosystems
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Proven expertise in quantum circuit design and quantum error correction techniques
- Publication record in top-tier quantum computing journals (e.g., Nature Quantum, PRX Quantum)
- Mastery of quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and classical HPC systems
- Experience with superconducting, photonic, or trapped-ion quantum hardware
- Strong background in machine learning and high-performance computing
