Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for real-world applications in cryptography, material science, and AI optimization
- Architect hybrid quantum-classical computing systems with 99.9% fault tolerance
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and software developers
- Develop quantum error correction protocols for industrial-scale deployment
- Secure $10M+ in R&D funding through strategic partnerships with government agencies
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals and industry conferences
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information science
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Proven track record in quantum algorithm development (Shor's, Grover's, VQE)
- Expertise in quantum error correction codes (surface codes, color codes)
- Proficiency with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Strong background in superconducting qubit systems or topological quantum computing
