Job Description
Join Nexus Quantum Technologies at the forefront of computational revolution in 2026. We're pioneering quantum-resistant cryptography and scalable quantum processors to redefine global security paradigms. As our Quantum Computing Architect, you'll design fault-tolerant quantum systems that solve previously impossible problems in materials science, cryptography, and AI optimization.
This role demands a visionary mindset to bridge theoretical physics with practical implementation. You'll collaborate with Nobel laureates and industry disruptors to build the quantum infrastructure that powers tomorrow's innovations.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures for enterprise-scale applications
- Develop quantum algorithms optimized for next-generation hardware (superconducting/qubit/ion trap systems)
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and cryptographers
- Establish quantum security protocols resistant to 2026-era cyber threats
- Drive innovation in quantum error correction and decoherence mitigation
- Partner with AWS/Azure quantum services teams for hybrid cloud integration
- Publish breakthrough research in IEEE Nature journals
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 5+ years industry experience
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and quantum machine learning frameworks
- Proven track record of scaling quantum systems beyond 100 logical qubits
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Deep understanding of quantum-classical hybrid computing architectures
- Experience with quantum hardware from IBM, Rigetti, or IonQ
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing conferences (QIP, IEEE Quantum)
