Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for complex optimization problems
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum computing
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum circuits
- Create simulation frameworks for quantum algorithm validation
- Lead research publications in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Mentor junior engineers in quantum programming best practices
- Translate theoretical quantum concepts into deployable solutions
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (MS with exceptional experience considered)
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Deep understanding of quantum entanglement and superposition principles
- Published research in quantum algorithms or quantum information theory
- Experience with NISQ-era hardware limitations and mitigation strategies
- Strong background in linear algebra and probability theory
- Proven ability to translate complex mathematical concepts into code
