Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning applications
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical workflows for real-world enterprise deployment
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quantum solutions into existing cloud infrastructures
- Lead research initiatives in error correction and quantum decoherence mitigation
- Create performance benchmarks and scalability protocols for quantum processors
- Mentor junior engineers in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit)
- Secure patents for novel quantum methodologies and architectures
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Published research in quantum algorithm design or quantum information theory
- Expertise in linear algebra, probability theory, and computational complexity
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Demonstrated experience with quantum hardware providers (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Strong background in cryptography or machine learning preferred
