Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum machine learning algorithms for complex system optimization
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy quantum-AI solutions in production environments
- Lead research initiatives in quantum neural network architectures and error correction
- Develop simulation frameworks for quantum-AI hybrid systems using Python and Qiskit
- Publish breakthrough findings in leading scientific journals and present at global tech summits
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum computing principles and AI ethics
- Secure $1M+ in research grants from NSF and DARPA for 2026 quantum initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Machine Learning, or Computational Physics (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum annealing systems (D-Wave, Rigetti)
- Proficiency in quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq) and deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch)
- Published research in quantum machine learning or quantum algorithms
- Expertise in complex optimization problems with 10,000+ variables
- Experience with high-performance computing clusters and GPU acceleration
- Strong background in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Knowledge of 2026-era quantum security protocols and post-quantum cryptography
