Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for AI applications using Qiskit and TensorFlow Quantum
- Lead research on quantum neural networks and hybrid quantum-classical models
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prototype and validate quantum-AI solutions
- Publish findings in top-tier journals and present at international conferences
- Secure research funding through grant proposals and industry partnerships
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to open-source quantum-AI frameworks
- Stay current with emerging quantum computing hardware and software advancements
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Machine Learning, Physics, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in quantum algorithm development or quantum machine learning
- Proficiency in Python, quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit), and ML frameworks
- Strong publication record in quantum computing or AI research
- Demonstrated ability to translate theoretical concepts into practical applications
- Experience with quantum hardware providers (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in fast-paced research environments
- Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
